Where's the research data

I have seen reports that smoking caused massive amounts of death due to cancer. I have also read that Radon has caused a large amount of deaths due to cancer. I have also read that diesel emissions have caused a large amount of deaths due to cancer. I HAVE NEVER read anything about any of those deaths being caused by a combination of these causes. It is logical that many, or maybe most, of these deaths are actually a combination. That's assuming that you can differentiate between the causes.Again, I've read nothing about that. MY QUESTION: Can you tell the difference between each causes of cancer, and is there any attempt to determine which cause resulted in the death? OR, could it be that upon the cancer death of a smoker it is automatically listed as a smoking death without any investigation about the contributory effect of the other causes? I have a very hard time buying the danger of second hand smoke out in the open spaces. I'm willing to change, just tell me the facts, not just what you want people to believe becuase you're anti smoking. As for the issue of teen smoking, why don't we just start with parenting? Somebody please give me some data. Quit hiding facts that we all should know about for this debate.
