Worry about my job ( silicon related )

Hi, first of all i´m very sorry if this  is not the correct place to make this question. If I am wrong, I estimate that you say me what´s the correct place.

I work on a factory of solar wafers, and I am in direct contact with silicon powder. We use protection but its very dificult 100% protection, and sometimes I see powder on my nose. I´m worried about Silicosis, because my grandfather (miner) had it. i know that silica produces silicosis, but pure silicon produce it??

I´m very worried :(
