any idea

I had a chest xray 1 month ago and it was clear.  Had another one recently and found 1 cm nodule in lower right lung.  Had tongue cancer 10 years ago and have been fine since.  Lately feel like I always have a cold or mucus in my throat.  Do I really have cancer again?

No it doesnt always mean that you have cancer. Maybe the nodules has been there and went unnoticed or could be inflammation. I know what you are going thru I am going thru the same thing I have two nodules one on the right and one on the left both are around 6mm in size. I also found out about a month ago and have stressed and been depressed ever since. All i can say is try to focus on other things rather than just the nodule. I am trying to do just that but the depression still seems to creep in.

With a nodule 1 cm do they plan on doing a biopsy or ct scan? what about pet scan? Are they going to just watch it for 2 years to see if it grows?

Maybe when they did the first xray they didnt get all the lung in the film so it was missed? Im just guessing cause I dont understand all this myself.
