chest nodule over 6th rib

Hi, I had a chest x ray May 31 which showed an "abonormality" I thought it was scar tissue from a bad fall I had about 18 months ago, but it was a 'faint nodulary density overlying the 6th rib" accodring to my dr. two different radiologists looked at it neither can figure what it is and are now going to schedule a CT scan. I AM FREAKING OUT. I have been exposed to TB, I had the fall 18 months ago and bruised ribs in this same spot HOWEVER, I did smoke for about 5 years off and on--quit nearly 10 years ago. I have a history of basal cell skin cancers, these don't metastesize. Grandfather did have lung and skin cancers. He smoked 3 pks a day and lived in a coal town. He was also 67 I am 48, otherwise healthy. NO other symptoms of anything wrong, even blood work came back normal. I was B12 deficient last year but take B12 and D vit. so all good now....what could this be???? It is perfectly round and smaller than a dime, but easily seen, I saw it myself on x ray. ideas???comfort??
