I am the daughter of lung cancer survivor...my mom will be 70 in August...been in remission for 5 yrs...Had surgery to remove 2 lower lobes of her right lung, 4 rounds of 2 diff types of chemo, and had 2 lengthy hospital stays due to infection acquired in lobe that was left of right lung. That being said, how does your mom feel about what the Dr. is saying? Does she...and do you have a good rapport with the Dr.? What about a 2nd opinion, or is there a cancer center close to you that you can refer to?
