Hi,
How are you? What are the symptoms present? Definite diagnosis of PTB is with sputum examination for the mycobacteria. However, if there is also a consideration of pleural effusion or presence of fluid between the layers of tissue that line the lungs and chest cavity, it is best that you have this checked by a pulmonologist. It is best to bring the chest xray plate and result also .for proper evaluation. Take care and do keep us posted.
