My brother who has been HIV Positive for 10+ years now has in the last year been ill off and on. His t-cell count is around 400. Last year he was hospitalized twiceTwice-a-day for pneumonia. He is now in the hospital again but this time he was coughing up blood. They did a chest x-ray and it showed a mass in his upper lobe of the lung. They cant do a biopsy yet until his breathing is more stableStable angina Unstable angina but they do plan on doing a biopsy. If this is cancer of the lung, do you recommend chemo or radiationCystitis - noninfectious Radiation therapy? Would it even be worth the effort to just give him time? I love my brother but I dont want him to suffer. Thank you for any advice you could give me.
