lung nodule

last nov.08 i had a CT scan and found right upper lobe nodule measuring a little over 1cm. after 3 months a follow up ct scan was done and the nodule increase in size now measuring 2.3 x0.86cm. I dont have any symptoms, i was a smoker but quit last year. no loss of appetite, in fact i gained weight in the last few months. i dont know what to think right now! im confused and scared. please advise! thanks

I have three Nodules all bigger than yours. My doctor thinks that it's probably from an earlier infection and most of the time these are nothing. I have another ct scan in three months and it there is no growth that's a good thing, if there is maybe we'll do a biopsy. i'm also scared to death. i don't smokeso I'm hoping for the infection theory.
