Form the description you gave, it seems to be fluid around the lungs. It is unclear whether or not a diagnosis of tuberculosis was given presumptively or not. It is possible to have only the fluid as the initial symptom of tuberculosis. If a definitive diagnosis is made - you would have been started on medications.
Inquire about what other tests were performed to determine the cause of the fluid buildup.
Stay positive.
ask them why they think you're filling up that way
if it was from a weak heart you'd expect to get filled up on both sides
