lung. spindle cell carinoma

Hi,

My friend has been diagnosed with spindle cell carcinoma.  primary lung.
2 rounds of chemo: cisplatin and docetaxel did nothing.
I am wondering where the best place is to get a 2nd opinion and treatment for this rare cancer.
He lives in california, and has family in texas.

Hi,

If your family is in Texas, they should seek help from MD Anderson Cancer Research Centre.  They are one of the top researchers in the world on cancer.  My mother had sarcoma but in the pituitary tumor.  I also reached out to MD Anderson for second opinion.  Her first regime was Docetaxel and Gemcitibine and there was initial reaction to it.
