Hi,
How are you? Indeed, blood sputum or hemoptysis may be observed with pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB).  The outlook and management of PTB depends on a variety of issues including the severity of infection, presence of other symptoms and conditions in the medical history. It is best that further evaluation be done for proper management. PTB is highly contagious and may be treated with prescription medications to be taken for a few months. Take care and do keep us posted.
