micro nodule on lung bases sown up on ct of abdomen

my mother is now 59 yrs old had partial right kidney removed in 2005 due to kidney cancer,she is a diabetic,hbp,obesity, they follow her up every year for the cancer everything good so far,but back in 2005 they did a ct of the abdomen and the bottom of the lungs always shows up on this type of scan  in 2005 it showed tiny soft tissue nudules to small to diognoise they suggested a ct of the chest now that I have a copy of the test ,well that was never done ,here it is 4years later another abdm.ct done shows the same thing also suggest ct of chest,spots are same place same size we go next week for chest ct ,what could this be ?and why do you think they didnt do this back when first suggested?there so small all chest x-rays are always neg.that should be a good sighn right  sis72

thanks for the info that was my thaughts also,I just wish they had done this back in 2005 when the first test suggested it .but was never done ,so if this shows up to eally be something bad some is in trouble I would say

being that it has been four years and never grew is a great sign. when they find lung spots they must follow it for 2 years w/o growth and change. its been 4 yrs!
