Electron Beam Tomography is popular for cardiac imaging and also for screening for lung cancer. 3 dimensional reconstructed images are generated.
More conventional scanning modalities include the CT scan and the MRI scan.
Do let me know the result of your CT scan.
To determine the exact nature of the nodule, a biopsy or FNAC is mandatory.
Good Luck!
Thanks for the information, no I'm not a smoker and never have. I suppose that's in my favor. I read up on the pet scan and understand that it can differentiate between cancer and non cancer nodules. Are you familiar with the EBT scan? What other imaging modalities are there for this?
Thanks

Hi,
Any new lung nodule must be investigated to determine its nature and cause.
Your PSA is very well controlled, this is very good.
It is difficult to estimate the chances of cancer. Are you a smoker? Is there a family history?
PET or other imaging modalities should help settle the issue. Pl let me know the result of the scan.
All the best, and God Bless!
