shadow on the right bottom of my lung

I had an x-ray and the radiologist found out the my lower right lung had a shadow.  they sent me for ct scan but they still do not know what it is. do you have any idea about it.  for your  information i am not a smoker and i did  an x-ray justd for medical fitness.  I am fine and healthy, i do not have any symptoms of anything.  Thank you.

I am going through exactly the same thing.  (See Lung Lesion, Mother50) I will be having a PET scan, hopefully some time in the next 3 weeks. Although I would have wanted my specialist to say that it was just a scar, at least I will know for sure whether or not it is cancer.  The doctor said it didn't stand out to him as cancer but he also couldn't say for sure. The PET scan is the best plan.  I also don't have any symptoms and don't smoke.  This was just luck? that it was found.
