I just had a lung x-ray and the doctor said I had 2 calcifaction spots , but  not to worry. What could it be ?

Hi,
How are you? Are there symptoms present? I agree with your doctor that calcification on a chest x-ray is usually benign and may  be a result of prior infection. However, if there are risk factors for cancer, such as presence of pulmonary symptoms,  smoking or family history of cancer, monitoring through repeat  x-ray  or referral for CT scan or MRI may be indicated.  Take care and do keep us posted.
