Plumonary nodules measuring up to 4 mm

A couple of weeks ago a doctor told me that my CT scan shows a plumonary nodules measuring up to 4mm, and she told me to take another CT scan in a year. The CT scan was to see if I have a kidney stone (because I had frequent urination problem). There were no kidney stone ...

I keep wondering that how did I get that , wheather it would grow or be a cancer ... I am a very healthy 39 years old , mother of 2 little kids. I never smoke or drink . I have never been seriously sick in my life except when I had my 2 kids in C-section.
my other question is what should I do to prevent the nodules from growing or turning in to cancerous ...diet wise or life style wise.

Thanks a lot for any response

This is very well worked out and you are fine.  A 4 mm pulmonary nodule in a nonsmoker has less than .001% chance of being a lung cancer.  Exact criteria stipulate that getting a Chest CT in a year is all that needs to be done.  Lesions of this size should be monitored for 2 years at least.  If it never changes then no further CT's are necessary.  Nodules in the lung are very common and there is nothing you can or should do about  this particular nodule.  Molds and fungus material commonly cause them as a consequence of the immune system walling off the offending particle.  you SHOULD have a COMPLETE Chest CT and not just the limited amount of lung imaging from an abdominal CT to make sure this is the only nodule.  try spotonyourlung.com for more information

My friend once had TB but is healed now. The chest x-ray images show scars (pulmonary nodules) some of which are partly calcified on lungs, in particular on the right lung. She had a job offer in UAE but the scars prevented her taking it up due to their strict rules on TB scars on lungs.

A search on the internet came up with two solutions claiming to heal those;

1. Longidaza manufactured in Russia is said to be able to cure lung scars.
2. Serrapeptase administered in capsules ( SerraRX 80 and Serracor NK) are also said to be capable healing the lung scars.

Somebody help to see if this is possible.
