Ear lobe irritation

by dustybrown, Oct 12, 2009 05:43PM
I tested positive for an ANA screening a year ago, but my doctor hasn't pursued any further testing. I have a fibro diagnosis and feel as though I am getting sicker and sicker. Anyhow I have a strange symptom that has just occurred today and was wondering if It had anything to do with Lupus or possibly an allergic reaction to a new med I am on. I find it a strange reaction though, so I am leaning towards a symptoms of something rather than a reaction.

My ear lobes have become all inflamed, sore itchy and red. They are a little swollen too. They seem to have a bit of a rash on them too. I just put some cortisone on them, but they kind of hurt. I am really not sure what this is all about. Does anyone have any ideas?

You could definitely have a lupus discoid rash on your earlobes.  I get a rash in the crease between my lobe and my head all the time.
