HAVE YOU HAD SEIZURES????

HAS ANYONE ON HERE HAD SEIZURES, OF ANY KIND, SINCE BEING DIAGNOSED WITH LUPUS?

yes i have ,just recently again also i had another bad one and had to have my seizure meds upped once again friday before easter.

What kind of seizures do you have, how often, and why?  The reason I ask is because the lupus foundation site shows siezures as a symptom of lupus, but not many people experience them.  And the "seizures" i have had are so weird, I'm not sure they are truly seizures.  One was in the back of my neck a couple years ago....just suddenly started buzzing and my eyes shook like crazy, it felt like my head was shaking, but I don't know for sure if it was or if my eyes were the only thing shaking.  I was staring at my computer and it looked like it was jiggling all over the desk, and I asked my co-worker right next to me if anything was shaking and she said no.  I asked if we had an earthquake, and she said no.  It happened again a week later.  Then last October, i woke up in the middle of the night feeling nauseated, wanting to vomit.  Sat in front of the toilet waiting for the moment.  well, after a few minutes of no vomitting, all of a sudden my arms both started buzzing, like I had a million bees going around in circles around the bones at a very fast speed and then the arms came up and stiffened and the hands pulled inward stiffly, and I couldn't move them at all.  That lasted about 2 minutes, then I vomited, and went to bed.  the buzzing mellowed out but stayed in the arms for about 20 minutes!  I haven't had anything like it since.  My son is the one that said it was a seizure.  I personally don't know.
