How many UVB tanning bed sessions required to affect ANA?

Karajo and other Lupeans,

After finding out that my longtime avoidance of sunlight may have negatively affected my past ANA test results, I have another ANA ordered.  This time I want the results to more accurately reflect what is going on with me.

My question:  I'm using UVB rays from indoor tanning (due to it being winter here) so how many tanning sessions do you think I should have before it will positively affect my ANA? I tan for about 8 minutes each session.  Should I plan on having the ANA done the day of or the day after a tanning session?  What has worked for you?

Thanks for any input you can give on this.  The trouble is, if the ANA is negative, they don't pursue the other lupus tests which could possibly shed light on my problem.  That's why I'm concerned about the ANA results.

Also is there anything else that would negatively affect the ANA results such as taking aspirin or Tylenol?  Any foods that affect it?  All this should be explained to us by our docs who ordered the ANA test!

Thanks for any help.
