I suffer from Lupus headache over right eyebrow?

I have headaches over my right eye brow, they make me extremely tired when I get them. Is there a way to get rid of them?

Wish I knew.  I got one the other day just like that only it was in a different spot...right above my left ear.  I was so tired the rest of the day I could not do anything.

That's the way I feel too, it totally exhaust me. I have problems with my memory for  a week or two. Like when my husband or kids tell me something I forget and have to ask again what they said.

It sounds like migraines. I am not sure if this is related to the Lupus or not. If you have them often I would go to a neurologist.  I have tried many meds to control mine-I get them atleast 2 times a week-sometimes days in a row. I have had some luck with nortriptyline (I think it is also called Pamelor) you can ask your doctor. I also take magnesium powder and have tried butterbur and ginger which gives a bit of relief. I would definitley check with the doc before you try any of these though.  I also take migranol when one comes on.

This is going to sound so strange yet it works for my headaches.

First you take a peace of foil about the size of your forehead, you take the foil and put it in your freezer till it is really cold.( I keep a piece in my freezer at all times.)

Then you take the foil into your bedroom and lay down, (don't turn on any lights)

You take the foil and put it on your head  and close your eyes.

I do this for about twenty minutes.

My grandmother taught me this, it helped her headaches too.

Found out yesterday that the headaches, oculars, memory loss and flashing lights are being caused by seizures. My EEG was abnormal on both sides of the brain.
