Living with Lupus and having caged animals

Are having caged animals such as a Cockatiel and Rabbits okay for a person living with lupus?  I am not sure, and would like to know, in case I have to make changes.  Thanks

I don't know of any problems they would pose.  Unless, of course, you are allergic to them.

hi,

not sure if others have noted same, but for some reason, some cats TRIGGERED the lupus in me... doctors laugh at my theory, but i'm 100% certain that SOME cats do... so, i don't think it's the cats themselves, but perhaps their outdoor activities, or whatever that they might carry on their skin or fur...

just watch your symptoms, your body will tell you... hope this helps...
