Lupus Questions HELP !

Im 37 with 10years of crazy SX many Lupus test done All NEG.
Will I ever See A POSS.result ?When Should I test ?
IS there one better time then another to test  ? I'm Post 3 weeks LP Shunt surgery,
and other SX past 10 years have all been showing up for a year now
kinda all together,One day it is pain in the knee's,wrist,first finger seems to always hurt on
right hand,carpal tunnul feeling.  Thats not even my ? My Question right now is

Does Lupus cause a feeling of tndons or possible muscle  of a painful pullin feeling.
It's really hard to describe correctly ...  I get this feeling in my arms alot the forearms mainly.
Just after Surgery 10 days or so ago I was ready to leave the hospital for the 2nd time in my 14 day stay to yet get another pain that keeps me there for an extra 2 day ugh....

That feeling witch is one of many ,very heavy SX for over a year now,Cronic (chronic) pain.
Yes Dr.'s do say I have Fibro , however I know along with My Neuro Dr.s nurse says it is more then just the Fibro
we just have not found the problem yet.  I have done a lot of reading on these forums and on the internet.I
will also say that I deal with alot of what alot of you go through.

As I  layed in the hospital after surgery although on and pumped with meds I could tell aside of the reason I was there,for the LP Shunt that Some of my old SX where creeping up on me ( very scary feeling)

So Can Lupus cause that agioning feeling on the inside of you like pieces at both ends of a tendon per'say is
being pulled tight , hurting,it can be sharp,stabbing,nagging it just does not feel right ? !

Right now along with feeling tired lifeless,my nerve pains are coming back, I had a bone scan to make sure there is no damage to my tail bone and theres not . The only other explanation nerves,It prevents me from sitting .
It is an dreadful pain,very uncomfortable.When I try to get up from sitting it sometimes takes a minute.So
I'm thinking as I have for a while now It is due to my un-explained pain noone seems to be able to answer !
Lupus maybe , I've thought MS too.Just not sure ,

Figured I would ask While it is happening right now.  Has anyone expirenced this type of pain
this naggin pulling feeling that is now in my lower pelvic,waylow,again not in the vaginal canal itself alittle to the left side.It wont go away.It's so sharp at moments it makes me jump,like a fast stab..

I'm not sure about what you are going through.  I have had problems similar to what you described, but w/ lupus your joints are screeming.  The fatigue is overwhelming too.

The fatigue  has always been a big problem,just knowing that it went with something,
There has been alot going on in the past 15 months.At this moment my joiunts are on simerr.. but often it is my right hand right knee.

  Just as my pain was hear it was gone lasting good into the next am early then subsided,as I now have been cramping all day , Icall it my  ( run a mile , like you drank a gallon of water ).Full ...

It's I'm sure a huge possiblity it is the drainage process of the shunt , I'm still in thought ,
I can feel when pressure is high er then normal ( ha) or high Ifeel it behind the eyebrow,
just above the eye a horrible naggin .. I'll keep digging Thanks Karajo

I've been looking over your symptoms and have a few more questions.

Which of the 11 criteria for lupus do you have?

1. malar rash over cheeks (butterfly rash)
2. discoid rash, red raised patches
3. photosensitivity - reaction to sunlight, resulting in skin rash
4. oral and nose ulcers
5. arthritis
6. serositis - inflamation (inflammation) of the lining of the lung or heart
7. reanl disorder - excessive protein in urine and/or cellular casts
8. neurologic disorder - seizures, or psychosis
9. anemia or low white blood count or lymphopenia or low platelet count
10. positive ANA
11. positive anti-DNA or anti-Sm, or antiphospholipid antibody or false pos. syphilis test

When do you go back to the dr.?

What are they doing for the tinea versicolor?  I had to look that one up.  It said a yest infection that causes a rash on the abdomen.

Are you being treated for the fibro?  You do have a lot of the symptoms and like you said, your doctor has it.  Taking something like Lyrica, Savella or Cymbalta can help (side effects for first couple of weeks but gets better).  I also go to massage therapist for myofascial release treatment.  This is especially helps the sciatica like pain and my headaches.  I would suggest you work to get that under control first and then look for what else may be there.
