Possible lupus? photo added. pls help!!!

im really confused. im sick of people saying "oh its just stress... you dont need to panic!"... I have anxiety disorder however i find this is really impacting on trying to explaine things to people. I see my rheumatologist.. started seeing him today, he sent me off for bloods.  5 months ago my body rejected the lap band drs didnt kno why.. when i got it in i got sinus problems... crusty blood etc  and my body hated it when it was in constent throwing up.. theydidnt know why. after they took it out after a month i got cronic (chronic) pain in my arms neck legs etc found it hard to get up in the morning, would often miss things because of the pain.. i also as well have post nasel drip ever since op..then i was told oh u just have stress. then my mental status changed and my bf wants to leave me .. hes anoyed cus i had a go at him and abused him :S thats just not me.. my mental state... ive been getting so many wierd headaches then last night i got an "asthma attack"??? i coughed up white stuff, i dont even have asthma... i was so close to calling 000. saw gp he gave me ventilon. however im still getting wierd headaches wierd pins in my feet pain...... and my heart would feel wierd. and i got that butterfly rash. so i called the hosp they said oh u sound fine to me probably just anxiety see ur gp tomorrow... its like uhhh? im sick of people saying anxiety. the only one who didnt call it anxiety was the rehmotologst.. he knows somethings up.

ok to get things straight. should i call an ambulence. ? am i over reacting. im sick of being over looked.. this pain has been too long and its like surgery trigered something, 3rd time i had surgery with my lap band i woke up with heart problems but eased off that was in JUNE.

im getting wierd fluttery heart beat etc :(

bloods have shown lowering platlets when ive had high... as with white cell. hscrp is slightly raised.

Hi there -
Im sorry you are going through so much right now, and Im sure its scary.  Your symptoms at this time, however, do not so much point to lupus.  Low platelets and white cells are a symptom, however, the standard is to have at least 4 out of the 11 criteria to be considered for Dx.  I did not look at your picture, but traditionally, a butterfly rash would not suddenly appear.  It usually has manifiested itself long before - though - lupus can affect everyone differently.
Do you have sore or swollen joints?  Extreme sun sensitivity (where you get really sick after being in sun, or develop rashes), extreme fatigue, mouth or nose ulcers, rashes on your body?  These are some of the more common symptoms of lupus.  Also, though lupus CAN cause change in mental status, it is rarely that extreme.  It usually manifiests itself in cognitive difficulty, or "brain fog" - not aggression.  Chronic sinus problems are also not a symptoms of lupus.
This does not mean that you dont have lupus, or will not develop lupus, but, at this time, it would seem unlikely.
As for going to the emergency room, I am not a doctor.   That would certainly be your decision.  Maybe your GP, however, maybe better, as he knows your history?

Well its acually been distant there for awhile, i thought it was just a skin reaction to a wash 3 weeks ago but never went.  It just started burning last night. and became more clear as to the rash when i took a photo.

One time i thought i had mouth cancer because i useto get ulcer after ulcer... and wouldnt stop.. then it stoped.  Yes, Livedo rash. I also get a wierd rash after a shower though.  Nose has been itchy... never took much notice of it, more so the post nasel back of throat. when u mention brain frog ive had bits of it when i feel so confused and have to stare more before i realise, mum picked that up today.  Ive had past kidney problems before but they only found kidney stones. then ive gotten back pain knee pain etc..

Ive seen the gp so many times its not funny i feel like crying, thats why i see this other dr that i saw today.

im just worried that something a bit more serious will happen in my cheast :(

family has history of arthritis, lupus only one in the family has it, glucoma, spinalbiphia, pagets desease.. asthma etc

Hi there -
Well you do have more symptoms of lupus than previously noted.  But, take comfort in knowing that when lupus affects the heart, it does not really cause heartattack problems, but causes fluid in the sac around the heart.  THis can go on for months before its even noticed.  It can be serious, but not life threatening in most cases.  Also, your symtoms (symptoms) do not sound like this heart issue, as the symptoms of this are pain when breathing in, or in bending over and not irregualr heart beats.
I know you dont want to hear anxiety, but the rapid heart beat does sound like anxiety.  And this is not to diminish your OHTER symptoms, but maybe you are feeling worse because you are worried.  If you DO have lupus, you are in NO immediate danger.  People go YEARS with having lupus and no official Dx.  As a matter of fact, the average time it takes to officially Dx someone wit lupus is 3-6 years!  For myself it was 7+ years.  So try and relax, and wait to see what the rheumie says about your blood work, OK?
I will pray that you DO NOT have this disease...it is pretty horrible, and the treatment is even worse.  Good luck and take care!

Yes, its beenn about 5 months with this. however ok i admit when i was 14 i was PREG.. ok i had the worst sickness.. i was throwing up so soso much i could not keep anything down and i got an abortion. (rapeheh) mum was suprised why i was throwing up alot as with drs. things eased... kinda.. but i just found over years i had problems trying to wake up out of bed.. whether that was depression or not, and i missed so much school, everyday was different. im 19 now and when i did get the lap band in in june (removed july) it just reminded me so much when i was preg. its was horrible... the vomiting etc even when the band wasnt inflated, could not keep water down, then sinus problems joint problems etc after i got it removed. I had too.. it was horrible..5months now with still pain etc :( now a rash.

It's highly possible you have a systemic INFECTION and need a good dose of antibiotics.  Also, have the doc check for CNS Lupus!  That will cause all the above listed symptoms!  Most notably psychosis.  Go to the Lupus dot org site, type in their search box "CNS LUPUS" and read what it has in there for it.
