Tremors

I have SLE, I am taking plaquenil, was on steroids 1 1/2 months,  off now for 1 month. Usually around 4-5am, I start getting tremors.  I get up at 6am for work.   Most of the time I can do deep breathing exercises and they will go away but sometimes they last a little longer.  I am under a lot of stress/depression, trying to work, not sleeping well and taking Plaquenil, Zegerid, Iron pills, vitamins and a laxative.  What could this be?  How do I know if this is stress related or related to prednisone, parkinson's or something like that?

Have you told your doctor about the tremors?  I would think they would be from low blood sugar or possibly a side effect of the plaquenil.  Maybe have some peanut butter crackers by your bed so you can grab one when you wake up and eat.  It could be the iron pills causing acid in your stomach, which will cause the tremors.
