The following day, it progressed to get worse. My joints began to swell and have a sharp intense pain. The rash has now spread over my whole body (It seemed to move, like I was able to feel to move). I was rushed to the hospital. The only thing that helped me at the hospital was prednisonePrednisone Prednisone anhydrous (they gave me high dose! left the hospital taking 60mg a day and began to tapper off over a month).
While I was in the hospital the rash moved over my chest and began to mess with my lungs. It became hard to breathBreath alcohol test Breath holding spell Breath odor... Please note: I have had my lower right lobe of my lung removed, this was when I was 5 years old.
Basically, I have had every test done... Blood work, x-rays, etc... Everything so far shows up 'normalNormal saline flush'. But my doctor knows I am sick, but does not have a clue what it could be.
I have included a picture of my rash in February ( this was on my arm... The rash got worse).
Little note: My problems went away around late March 2009. But they came back last week... I knew what it was right away. My left knee began to swell and became unmovable (because of extreme pain). The docs gave me prednisone (60mg) and now it is 'under control' they are tampering me off again.
Okay so, I have been taking a medication called Bupropion. They ruled it out as not a drug reaction. But it seem like Drug Induced Lupus is hard to diagnose; could to be the solution to my problem? I am taking sertaline(150mg) and bupropion(~300mg). I have stopped taking the bupropion... The sertaline, I have been taking for almost year now.
Any help be nice :)
Thanks,
Dylan
