Wanting To Know ?

I was diagnosed with Lupus back in the Fall of  2000. I have only had a few flare ups since then. I also have continual Vertigo that I stay on Meclizine for and also I have hypothyroidism, asthma, food allergies, hypoglycemia and year round allergies. The past few days I have been staying dizzy even though I regularly take my Meclizine and today I developed muscle spasms between my eyes, which has been constant all day since morning. I am also having some spasms along my cheeks and have a headache. I was wondering if you all knew what these newest developments might be related to. I intend to call my Doctor tomorrow and try to get an appointment to see what is going on. In the mean time I thought I would post here and see if anyone might have some ideas as to what is happening.

Hi there - I have no idea what those flare ups could be related to. I found out recently I have a reaction to gluten/wheat and my eyelids were twitchy a lot more while I was still eating wheat. Plus I had worse head and ear aches.

Curious though how they diagnosed your Lupus - combination of symptoms and blood tests? I think I am having something going on with my immune system - but doctors (for the past 3 months) keep giving me things to allievate symptoms rather than do tests.
