Test results for Antinuclear Antibodies, IFA showed Homogeneous Pattern 1:160 (high). This seems to be very high according to the range. Does this mean I definitely have Lupus? Could it be something else. Are there other tests that need to be taken? So sorry for lots of questions. I have an appointment with a Rheumatologist but would like some info now. Thank you everyone for your help.
Actually, 160 is not considered high. It is positive, but not high. Mine was 640 before they decided it was significant and 2560 before I was put on any medicine. They look at lab as well as symptoms and that sometimes takes time for everything to manifest into something.
