can somebody help me

my mom was diagnosed with lupus on her her joints and i really want to help her so i wanted to know what she is able and not able to do, what medicines are recomended and as much information as i can receive would be of great help...
also i heard about this medicine that comes from france, i cannnot recall the name, but it was some type of bug that needed to be placed in a cup of water and be drunk and that supposely when u swallow this bug it fights of the lupus or some thing like that but i dont trust it and do not want to risk it. And the reason that they gave me that it is not in the markets was because it is really expensive and can only be found at france. Should i trust this product or bug?

Is your mother seeing a Rheumatologist?  If not, she needs to be.
I don't know what you read about a majic bug but - NO.
What medication is your mother taking?

This is so sweet of you to care enough to seek support and guidance.  As far as what your mom can and cannot do is totally up to the way she feels.  She will have good days and bad ones.  Just listen to her if she asks you to do something because she is not feeling up to it.  You will become familiar with her symptoms because most of us do tell when we hurt.   Your mom should remain under her doctors care and that Rheumotologist will try her out on medication to see what is best for her individual situation.  A lot of us do not take good to sun exposure or uv lights.  Your moms case may be the same or different. Either way let her know you care and want her to tell you what she is going through so you can help.  This is not the end of the row being dx is the first step and taking her meds and resting when needed will take care of the rest.  I know Lupies that have been dx 30+ years.  It's all about the management.  Sort of like Asthma... If you can control it it will not control you....
