could it be connected to lupus

do i need to worry...i was short of breath, was in pain and had a green phlemy cough, my GP sent me for a chest x-ray in late february, i have been recalled for another chest x-ray they found an opacity i also suffer from lupus could there be a connection...

Hi.
Just reading your post . I had a shadow on my lung in March 2010, which was diagnosed as pnuemonia (pneumonia),
Have you had a sputum test done, where they test the phlegm, to check for the bacteria which is causing it?
Are you taking antibiotics?
When are you going for the next chest x-ray?

I hope they sort this out for you, i was diagnosed of my sputum test, i would ask them to test you for this, just so you may get a right accurate diagnosis.
