fifths dsease???

is there a connection with fifths disease and lupus?  I have hashimotos, became seriously ill with fifths and am now being tested for lupus.....does anyone know the connections

I was a healthy active woman until I came in contact with 3 children with Fifth's disease. Within 6 month's of contracting Fifth's myself, I found myself barely able to walk and in the emergency room with severe edema and joint pain. It took about a year before they finally referred me to a Rheumatologist with 3 sets of positive test results for LUPUS with Ruematoid Arthritis and Connective Tissue disease. I have been on Methotrexate injections, Lodine, Lasix and now Neurontin. I still hurt and my lab work still isn't showing the improvement that I had hoped. Docs are now talking about damage being bad enough in my right knee that I may need replacement surgery.
I am 100% convinced that had I not come in contact with Fifth's disease, I would not now be dealing with the crippling effects of RA. I am 45 .
