lupus in remission?

is it possible not to have any or at least no more symptoms of lupus except for the sore hips and legs which could also be due to oa.? i previously had the fatigue, pain in legs /muscles/fever/swollen hands /feet but all appears well now or at least most of those symptoms have ebbed.

i have not yet been dx however i have a high titer ANA and high titer Anti-Dna pos. both as well as high esr. i am considering not pursuing (if only i wasn't afraid for the renal thing).
so what say you? i really have not had any success with the rheumy crowd.

Continue to get the doctor to check all this.  The flare being gone isn't a reason to stop.  But, remember that your blood work may be very different, possibly normal, when you aren't in a flare.  One thing someone told us on here, is right before getting her blood drawn, she spent the day in the sun, and of course, the sun put her in a flare the next day, and she showed all types of problems on her blood test.  That's when the docs were able to treat her.  Just ensure your doctor is aware of your flare, and that it's gone, but be ever vigilant on taking care.  Change your diet for the better, start exercising, possibly yoga, and take some Chondroitan and whatever that joint stuff is.  It works very well.  It's over the counter.  good luck!

tks. the diet thing is fine (i did nutrition counselling and i do the exercise thing as i was a marathoner--yoga i hate but i used to do tai-chi which i love and unfortunately my back has never been the same since an all -day workshop) but that's just me. the rheumys are unbelieveably dare i say ignoranat or at least the ones i have been to and as i said before it's kinda a like a ''****-shoot'' . i am biding my time 'til something happens.
as a matter of fact i was out all day saturday in the son for my son's soccer tournament and it did produce the butterfly rash and i had a hard night but as i said before it could be due to the oa which is driving me crazy with pain --that sweet young rheumy thing said i "wasn't 22" sheesh.now it appears canada has developed a new hip replacement device--much less debilatating less recup time. i am starting to get excited.many thanks for the reply and i realize that i must still pursue at my peril.
