rosacea or lupus?

i started having a rash across my both cheeks*not on nose* about a year and half ago. It became pretty worse ,itchy,it was not raised but sometimes had ***** fluid coming out of it.it was near my 19th birthday, i didn't treat it as i was busy in my papers, it healed in about a month leaving only slight reddish spots on my both cheeks. I later noticed that those spots would hurt on washing with soap,or sometimes after eating.I always had tendency to blush often since childhood, and now it became worse. My cheeks become inflamed when i become nervous or when i feel warm.My symptoms became more  permanent in winter.I am a 1st year medical student and this also has distubed my studies.I was almost convinced i had rosacea, even though i am ASIAN pakistani and not very light skinned, but this summer i noticed another change. My skin it seemed has gone more sensitive, even  just washing it it with mildest soaps caused reddish  patches to appear. THEY appear on random locations sometimes behind the nose r sometimes along the jawline ,they go away in 15-20 min. i usually treat them with cold water.
tHE OTHER THING WORRYING ME IS I'VE NOTICED  A TIGHTNESS AROUND MY BOTH CHEEK MUSCLES,AS IF THEY WERE VERY TIRED WHICH BECOME WORSE WHEN I AM TIRED .SOMETIMES IT GOES AWAY COMPLETELY BUT USUALLY ITS THERE., tHE FLUSHING AND THE MUSCLE WEEKNESS,ALTHOUGH NOT REALLY DISABLING IS MAKING ME WORRIED. MY DR. PRESCRIBED AN ANTIHISTAMINE RECENTLY. iT HAS STOPPED THE HIVES COMPLETELY BUT I STILL FEEL THE FLUSH COMING......
I HAVE NO OTHER SYMPTOM OF LUPUS, NO FEVER,NO JOINT PAIN,,,NOTHING,,,,,,,IT MAY SOUND LIKE I M MAKING A BIG DEEL OUT OF IT BUT ITS REALLY DISTURBING MY STUDIES AND I M WORRYING A LOT SO IF U COULD TELL ME THAT IT HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH LUPUS OR NOT.....
AND YES I HAD SOME SMALL PIMPLES OVER MY RED CHEEK AREA BUT THESE DAYS IT IS CLEARED

this sounds like more of a contact dermatitis or skin issuee rather than a malar rash.I would recommend seeing a skin specialist and seeing what they can determine and what treatment they can recommend-it may be something as simple as soap, clothing detergent or makeup that is aggravating it or a weather/stress change.

good luck

I don't think it's silly at all and It's good that ur concerned about this. I started getting discoids at about 14 and never paid any attention to it until more symptoms were present at about 17. I tried many skin prodcutcs like Proactiv thinking i just very bad skin due to hormones and puberty but it never worked. I started experiencing black-outs, fatigue and my body was very weak then I decided that it was enough and went on my journey of seeing many medical specialist to find out I have SLE.

Sometime the littlest things can really turn out to be the biggest challenges in your life. Don't wait! See the specialist ASAP so you can get in control of your life instead of the possibility of Lupus being in control.
