Yes, that is for Bartonella.
You are right, it is hard to figure it out. After 2 years of treatment, I thought my Lyme was gone so I retested. Found out Lyme was still there, this time CDC positive and I got another co-infection. Ugh
I was not a happy camper.
" Must not be a very common medication. "
It's a pretty common med (actually a combo) but because so many people have a sulfa allergy it may not be given.
I had no bad reactions to it but many have---- and not because of an allergy.
Thanks! Thought I would get more answers. Must not be a very common medication.
Kind of weird, this is the eighth antibiotic that I have been on and I'm not doing too bad with it. As bad as I have done with most of the others, I can not tell if I am just feeling better than I did with the others or actually feeling better than I did prior to treatment. What is this one for? Just Bartonella? I'm not taking any other antibiotics with it.
Trying to figure out what is doing what/when or why is not always easy.
Hi Ephedra. I tried taking it but had immediate pains all over and my LLMD says she thinks I am allergic to it.
Hope that helps.
