Base of neck swelling

I have had swelling (non painful) but concerning at the base of my next on the right and left side and the front. A number of doctors I have seen for other conditions have noticed and pressed the areas and didn;t appear concerened, but until a few months ago they were never there.  I am going to request a TSH to see if there is something going on with my thyroid. Is there anything else that I should have my doctor look at? My doctors may not be concerned, but I am.  My previous primary doctor just told me I was overweight! I am 62 years old.
Any advice you can give me will be greatly appreciately.

Besides all the glands swelling, don't forget that Lymes&Co bring about Hormonal Receptor Blockage. This can cause Adrenal Inefficiency and Thyroid Dysfunction.
It's normal to look at the symptoms, but do not overlook the causes!
Your fight against Lymes&Co is going to be harder-as if it's not hard enough!- unless you get FIRST the Adrenal Inefficiency under control
and then address the Thyroid Dysfunction (which may be contributing to the swelling as the thyroid will enlarge in response, should the LD cause or mimick hypothyroidism).

It is also imperative to keep your lymphatic system well running, as your body MUST process efficiently the waste from the die-off and chemical by-products , neurotoxins from LD along with all the other "normal" clean-up work!
Proper breathing (visit the normal breathing website) is extremely important
as it engages the Thoracic Duct - the largest lymph vessel-
Physical activity stimulates the lymphatic system. 5-10 minutes gentle bouncing on the trampoline multiple times daily is one of the best ways to achieve this. Walking , swimming, biking, whatever you can do is great!
DYI lymphatic massage! get a long handle natural bristle brush and massage your body multiple times daily! It will make a big difference!
All these tips will also help reduce the swelling.
But you must stay well hydrated by consuming plenty of filtered or spring water 1H away from meals.
So yes, there are many things you can do on your own, but the most important (and perhaps the most difficult) thing is to do is actually commit yourself to  something and make it part of your daily routine, the same as brushing your teeth.
Cheers!
Niko

I have Lyme, Bart's and babs and every gland in my body is swollen. It doesn't hurt except when the doctor presses on it. I also developed low thyroid so checking that is good and if you haven't already, I would check for co-infections through igeneX labs. Having a co- infection if you are in the US is very common.

Hey! I also have Lyme disease and had the same neck problems. Good news, it's not uncommon. I was of course super paranoid of it and it was so swollen I looking like a hunch back. Mine was also on different sides.  I got my thyroid checked, you should definitely do that. I also got my neck xrayed. They said my glands were just extremely swollen. That sounded like too simple of an answer, but it was true, because as I have gotten better throughout treatment, it has gotten better!
