Bruising Easily

by mrs_k75, Jul 02, 2009 11:24AM
I notice for many years now that I notice I bruise easily. I am not sure if it is a symptom of Lymes or another problem. The bruising has gotten worse lately. I also have a problem when certain objects hit my legs it hurts more. The LLMD said the Lymes is not just a joint problem, but it causes muscular pain as well. I tried Amrix for my muscle relaxer, but it works to well and the next morning I was dizzy. I can't affiord to  take while taking care of my 12 month old daughter. Too risky.

I don't know all the possibilities, but a platelet count when blood is drawn would show any abnormally low levels.  Since you recently had a baby (congratulations!), it would likely have been picked up by your OB.

Be sure to ask the LLMD about it --
