Bullseye but not treated - get testing?

Since I've been diagnosed with Lyme Disease and some co-infections I seem to be running in to people that either have Lyme or know someone who does. This is in Canada. Most recently I ran in to an old acquaintance who explained that 5 years ago her son had a bullseye rash. They didn't know anything about LD then and assumed it to be a spider bite and did not recall an embedded tick. This lady herself had an embedded tick that doc removed, also a few years ago and only gave her a single dose of Doxy! She is now very very concerned that both she and her son could have Lyme bacteria in them. They are asymptomatic at present.  She's wondering if she should get tested and if so, she'd use Igenex.

Anyone have any advice or been in this situation?
Thanks!

I was one of those people who were told fibromyalgia and CFS but it's all really Lyme.

Yes, I'd get tested.  Lyme doesn't go away by itself.

I suspect there are lots of people who are told they have 'chronic fatigue' or 'fibromyalgia' or some such syndrome (meaning a collection of symptoms without a known cause or diagnosis) who are really harboring Lyme and its evil little friends.

The word 'fibromyalgia' literally means muscle pain -- translation:  "We don't know what you've got, but you say your muscles hurt, so we'll diagnose you with ... muscle pain!"  Sigh.
