Do you think this is a good treatment?

I was treated with Chronic Lyme Neuroborreliosis for years. The symptoms were: pain in the limbs, numbness, nasal discharge, fatigue, lameness, depression, panic, headaches, sweating, trouble sleeping. The symptoms are similar to the Sclerosis Multiplex. There was many antibiotic (penicillins, macrolides) and alternative (silver colloide, hyperbar oxigen, rife maschine, DMSO) treatments tried for many years. This brought some improvement, but not definitive.

The next course of antibiotics cured it permanently:
Doxycycline 400 mg/day (2x200) for 30 days
after
Minocycline 400 mg/day (2x200) for 30 days
During the course beginning every two weeks for four consecutive days:
Metrondiazole 1000 mg/day (2x500) for 60 days
Residual symptoms may remain after antibiotic courses. Therefore, additional steroid treatment may be necessary.

Your English is very good -- much, much better than my Hungarian.  :)

The antibiotics you are taking (doxy, mino, metronidazole) are commonly used by MDs treating Lyme and co-infections (other diseases that are carried by the same ticks that carry Lyme).  Each MD has a different protocol and choice of drugs, so there is no absolute 'right' or 'wrong'.

I have read however that steroids are not good if you have Lyme, because steroids suppress the immune system, and your immune system is already struggling to fight the Lyme.  

No one here is medically trained, as far as I know, so you should rely only on your own MD.  Good luck and let us know how you do.
