Does anyone get cold?

Does anyone get cold?

I just want to know if anyone else gets cold?

I am freezing all the time, unless it is 80 or higher, and It is just a little disturbing.

My son is always Hot, so we are at opposit ends of the spectrum on this one.

I was just wondering...I do take
Thyroid suppliments, and my Endocrinologist said to get tested for Raynard's which makes your hands and feet white or blue when you are cold, but I don't have that.  I am just COLD.

Does anyone else get this way?

What is your body temperature? One of my first symptoms that showed up a little over a year ago was my body temperature dropped to 97.6 F. It is a known symptom related to lyme. Your son being younger and a male probably has a higher metabolism which keeps his body temperature up. It may be that lyme does not affect him in that way.

Low body temperature is a sign of lyme and other co-infections. Lyme likes to exist in a dysregulated body temperature. I have had 96 and 97 degree temps for awhile and plenty of moments of cold hands and feet. Fortunately, it's been a little less for me the last couple of weeks.

Don't let docs tell you that some people just operate at 97 degrees. Low body temp is a sign of some dysfunction in the body.

Thanks for the responses.  I have been taking my temp and it was at 97.6 for a while.  But my Thyroid med was bumped up and now I am usually at 98.0  I don't really ever get to normal.  I think I will start taking it when I am really cold and see where it is.

Thanks again!

I have had extremely cold hands and feet for quite some time as well.  It wasn't until my endocrinologist increased my med to shrink my very enlarged thyoid that that subsided.  I feel MUCH better too.  Having lyme and an abnormal thyroid at the same time makes it difficulty which disease is responsible for the symptoms.  My synthroid was increased about the same time that I was put on the antibiotic for Lyme, so  who knows!

My temperature is always 98.1. So yes, I'm cold naturally. Ideal for lyme.

YES!!  Especially me feet!!!  They are ALWAYS cold.  Even after wool socks and slippers.. they don't warm up.  I think the only time they're warm is in bed in the morning.  Drives me crazy.

My computer is freaking out a bit here!

Any way, Thanks again for replying about this!

I have been really getting tired of hearing that I am normal and low temp is ok for some people.  Plus it kind of hurts to have your feet and body so cold you don't even want to step into the shower in the morning.

I wear socks and slippers and gloves all the time.  I was even wearing a stocking hat the other day out in the sun, because the wind was making my head cold.

I will talk to the Dr about getting this check again.  I know I am not crazy!
