Feelin horrible

by skarey, Nov 02, 2009 03:34AM
Ugh!  I've been feeling horrible for the past few days.  The dizziness is debilitating... I feel like I'm going to fall over all the time.  I  can't think straight, I'm tired, and my body feels weak and fatigued.  When I go down the stairs my legs shake and my arms feel heavy.  I haven't been on any antibiotics for a week or two and I'm worried it's the lyme going wild again.  I have my abx (amox, azithromycin, and flagyl), but I just started them last night.  I've been hesitant to start them, cause we just moved and was afraid of herxing too strong to get anything done.  I also am out of my probiotics and am nervous about taking the abx without them.  But last night I took one amox, and one azithro and literally a couple hours later I feel worse (anxiety, sweats, and extreme dizziness).  I still feel the same this morning.   Absolutely horrible.

I'm so afraid I'm not going to recover from this horrible disease, or that something else is going on.  It's always something.  I'm so frustrated I could SCREAM!

I'm supposed to be pulsing my abx...  the amox and azithro for 4 days and then flagyl the remainder three.  I'm worried about getting worse.  Has anyone done this combo?

Thanks.

I hear you on the symptoms.  Many of mine that are like this are coming from systemic yeast.  Don't know if this is an issue for you, but you do say you are out of your probiotics.

Do a search for "systemic yeast symtoms" and see if anything fits for you.  Then get a prescription or OTC to give you some help.  God bless you.

I did not take probiotic supplements but ate yogurt daily which helped me.  Yes after doxy(6mos treatment) I did have a combo of ceftin and flagyl at certain intervals to help kill the disease in "cyst" form.  I did still get some herxing but it was worth it.  I currently take alpha lipoic acid for nerve issues,, but please ask your dr before using. It was recommended by my dr for my situation.  take care, it has to get worse sometimes to get better.
