Sorry about the lesions, glad they don't hurt. I have bright red lesions on both breasts, they don't hurt but look ugly and after 4 months of it, and putting a prescription cream on them 3 times a day all but one is still crusty. It looks like I will be scared from all of then which i am upset about.
This time around with the painful tongue bumps, it is only on one side of my tongue it is hard to eat certain things. What I find strange is, that I can't it many things that I use to enjoy. Anything sweet (my former downfall) make me feel ill if I even bite on it. I have lost about 30lbs (which I wanted to lose but not this way) so trying to positive, I guess I got something out of all this, LOL.
Wonko, thanks for the well wishes. My move has been delayed a couple of weeks and will have to change the LLMD appointment but I am moving forward and that is what counts.

Surely no one can diagnose you online, though good idea to check with the oral care board on MH.
I experience something that may be similar/related.
My Lyme/co-infections caused my tongue to swell to the point that I started to get bumps on either side of it in a scalloped pattern. This was my teeth causing an indent pattern on my tongue. Furthermore, due to the enlargement I started to bite the sides of my tongue in my sleep, so the sides would hurt.
The tongue swelling got better for me with treatment.
A second issue I have is that I developed numerous (dozens?) of oral lesions. They are fleshy and do not change in size or cause pain. They line the inside of my cheeks and there are also some on the floor of my mouth. I was terrified of this, but I've had several doctors look at them and say they are not precancerous. I don't know what they are and while I am no longer developing new ones, the old ones have not diminished despite almost 3 years of treatment.
Good look with the move and LLMD!
She told me it was probably thrush. I went online googled it. They said thrush was white. So I don't know if this is just a Lyme thing that went away with the medication or is really something else. it is back now thought not as bad, I am using that medication any way. I just would like to know what it really is. Tried searching online and even posted here to an oral care group.
Thanks for responding. I can't wait to see my LLMD when I move. My appt is 9/15.
What did your doc say when he/she prescribed the Nystatin?
