When I had Lyme and a fungal infection at the same time, I would crush garlic cloves (after cutting off the stem parts) with the flat side of a big knife, peel off the dry outer layer, then chop the clean cloves into small bits and stick them into an empty see-through gelatine-type capsule (a bag of a couple dozen of the capsule costs at the drugstore or health food store costs a few dollars maybe).
The capsule keeps the raw garlic from irritating your mouth and throat as it goes down (tho it does keep vampires away). I think raw garlic is supposed to be more effective (stronger than cooked garlic is), but eating garlic that has been peeled and cooked briefly in a small pan with olive oil works well too. Onions are good too, but I think garlic is stronger against bacteria etc. fwiw.
Sorry for all the typos at 5 am
There are tons of herbal remedies containing garlic. I am on the Byron White protocol and he includes garlic. I have not tried that brand you messaged buy garlic is good to add.
Greetings -- Sorry to hear the 'bugz' are still after you.
Would you refresh my memory on what infection(s) you were diagnosed as having and what antibiotics you have taken and are taking now? It sometimes takes more than one drug at a time to kill off the bacteria, whether a single infection or several strains. Different docs approach things different ways, and if you would post back what meds you are and have taken and about for how long (as in: how many months for each), we might have some comments based on what we've read and been through.
Above all: hang in there! Lyme is seldom a quick fix, but like you, I would be ready for the mop-up and to carry on with life as before.
