I was just diagnosed with Lyme disease after 6 mo. Will antibiotics cure me?

I think I contracted it 6-8 months ago. I went to a slew of doctors who told me that this was all in my head. I finally requested a Lyme test it came back positive. I am now on Amoxycillin 3x a day for 21 days. A lot of the stuff I read online is very depressing. But my doc told me we caught it relatively that I should heal just fine on the meds. How likely is this to be the case? My symptoms are headaches, joint pain, neck muscle pain, tingling in hands and feet and dizziness/vertigo. Mainly, I would like to know if my dizziness will go away. It is my main complaint and is almost constant.

I'm not a health professional, but I am suspecting I have lyme too and that if I do it is also affecting my inner ear (I have hearing loss, vertigo, and dizziness also).
I would treat the dizzy and vertigo symptoms as something like labrynthitis, which means it could take weeks to months to die down, but sometimes much sooner than that.  Have you considered taking meclizine to treat the dizziness?  It has relieved my vertigo when I have had short lasting inner ear viruses before.  Also have a look into other inner ear supplements like gingko, magnesium, and vitamins that improve inner ear circulation.  It may help to some degree.
Sorry if I could not have been of more help; I am just barely learning about all of this myself.
