I ordered a couple of books because as you all know, I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of my Doug Coil Rife Machine. I'm reading "When Antibiotics Fail....Lyme Disease and Rife Machines" and "Top Ten Lyme Disease Treatments".
There is so much good information in these books
Tell me, is it common for people with Lyme to read books backwards? ha ha I don't know why but I seem to read everything (except novels of course) backwards.
Also and Jackie this will make you happy, He says in the books that Magnesium is the single most important supplement that a Lyme Disease patient can take and he suggests take regular doses throughout the day. Too high doses will not result in any harm to your body but will give you loose stools. And, in the book it says that this might not be a bad thing because while cleansing, you want to be ridding yourself of the build-up of toxins.
Also, Binx....there is really good topic in these books on Mercury Poisioning with Lyme and the importance of treating the mercury poisioning. I am going to try and scan this section and email it to you when I get to the office on Monday. I'm a little confused on the Mercury part. Before I was dx with Lyme, I hired a nutritionist. We did the hair testing (which Bryan Rosner says is the best method) and it showed me as being high for Mercury. When my LLMD did my blood test, it showed me in the normal ranges. In these books, it says the hair testing is a better method because the hair will show how well your body is eliminating the mercury.
My nutritionist wanted to start me on a chelation program to rid my body of the mercury, but I haven't started that yet. I think I'll be giving him a call soon. It's not an overnight fix trying to get rid of mercury...you need to go slow because if you go to fast, you can dislodge the mercury and have it move to another area of your body (or something like that).
Anyway, so for us Lymies, mercury poisoning is something we should all be looking at.
Today, I'm emotionally feeling much better, but I'm noticing that slight tingling sensation under my left eye.
Although I'm not finished with the books, what I've read so far makes so much sense. Although, I'm not going to stop my ABX treatment yet, I think I see it in my future that I will be stopping the ABX and giving the Rife/natural protocol a try because my body just isn't tolerating the ABX well.
Everyone have a good weekend.
