L'Hermittes Sign Anyone?

L'Hermittes Sign Anyone?

Anyone else with this?  I drop my head quick in a chin to chest type action, and I get a zap down to my fingertips and toes.  This was especially pronounced in late Dec. 2006, when my symptoms were at their worst.

No, but I've had other weird zappings that I won't post about as they are too bizarre.

Somehow this is related to your neck/cns.

Does not sound like one of the more fun symptoms -- like floaters.

I thought this was more of an MS symptom?

I did too, but Lyme is the great imitator, so it's not out of the question right?

I have come to the conclusion that 'nothing' is out of the question with lyme - since it wanders around where ever it fancies - so best thing we can do is try  not let it get too comfortable!!

on a more 'helpful' level ! in my experience my neck stiffness/cracking/crunching - etc; is down to inflammation - the first episode of 'extremely stiff neck' that I had scared me so much - I have hardly relaxed since - which of course is a bit of an exageration - but tension / anxiety is the worst thing for the neck/shoulder/head and chest areas.

the whole 'picture' of lyme is 'anxiety' causing - so whatever it takes to relax has to be beneficial.

my LLMD. said to me today -' remember the symptoms of lyme are not nice BUT they will not harm you' -

Only one person in eight has the L'Hermittes sign?!  Wow.  That is interesting.  I just did it again today while I was typing.  Dropped my chin and ZAP!..down thru my fingertips.
