Late stage Lyme vs late stage syphilis

So I know there's a lot of debate going on about Lyme being sexually transmitted and how closely related bb and syphilis are, but can late stage Lyme cause physical deformities like late stage syphilis can?

Unless one considers Bell's Palsy residual symptom a 'deformity".

Yes, late stage Lyme can cause the same symptoms as late stage syphilis.

"develop complications of late, or tertiary, syphilis in which the bacteria damage the heart, eyes, brain, nervous system, bones, joints, or almost any other part of the body. This stage can last for years, or even decades. Late syphilis is the feared stage, because it can result in mental illness, blindness, other neurological problems, heart disease, and death."

If you're asking about PHYSICAL deformities I don't know. I see that Wiki has a particularly yucky pic of face/nose deformities from tertiary/congenital syphilis.  I haven't heard of anything like that in Lyme.  I'm willing to be proven wrong but don't think I am.
