Lyme? or something else...

I was just reading here in another forum (can't remember which one) a guy named Paul was experiencing night sweats and a rash. He had lyme, but it turned out to be chicken pox.

I was + for Lyme by Igenix WB, and PCR. Did lot of antibiotics (5 months) when I started them I got
these little red bumps that itched a lot and also seemed to have small specs in them. Red dots of
blood blister, a small bit of puss, or even a white thread coming out near the hair follicle.

I am not on treatment right now.

(although I do some herbal things)

I took 150 mg of Echinacea in the am and broke out in these red itchy dots MAINLY on my joints.
1 ankle and both wrists.  I took it again before going to bed and it got worse.

I was also taking a lyme concoction from the herbalists 40 drops of spiro-comp

I was having night sweats a night or two before the bumps came.

I had the night sweats again last night (I turned off the radiator in my bedroom to make sure
that was not the cause) and still have the rash, which has advanced to my face.

Any  thoughts?

Oh another thing... I had a Reiki attunement up a level on Sunday and the teacher said to watch for symptoms. I am wondering if that is all this is,but it's surely wierd and ugly!

Have you called your MD?

I went to my MD, and showed their urgent care nurse the bumps. She had no clue what they were and initially said, oh hun, it's just acne. (give me a break) I showed her all the other itchy bumps on my joints and she was clueless, "oh, that's nothing" (if it's nothing, why is it there?) "it's an immune reaction" (yes, i know, WHY is it happening??)  She does not believe in Chronic Lyme, nor does my primary care doc. but he did refer me to an environmental medicine doctor who was the one treating me. he was unavailable.

I'd suggest you take photos of your rash, at least one per day (cellphone works fine), and then when it's gone, you can delete the repetitive ones.  My MDs take things much more seriously when I show them photos.

I did take photos. The woman at the office who saw it nearly in full bloom, totally blew me off.

Keep the photos for your next set of MDs.  I went through about 20 doctors before I got diagnosed and treated.  Hang in there.
