Need help with Lyme disease

I leave in Collegeville PA, I have a difficult time finding a doctor with good knowledge and treatments for lyme. The one month course of doxycyclin treatment is not working for me. I do not understand why doctors are in such in denial about the persistence of lyme after oral antibiotic treatment. I have two types of positive test for lyme, ELISA and Western 2 bands, joint pain and inflammation, and neurological problems. Despite numerous publications from NIH demonstrating that there are lyme resistant strains and oral antibiotics are not always efficient to erradicate the bacteria, I am told that I will not receive additional treatment for my condition. What is wrong with the medical community. Furthermore Aetna HMO is not paying for the PCR test to detect Lyme DNA in the body. Lyme is such a widespread disease and not a shameful one to have, why patients with lyme get such poor treatments. Almost all other PCR tests are payed by Aetna.
I almost caused a fire in my house because of my short term memory problems. My lyme test was diagnosed 1 year ago. I am very desperate, please help if you have a suggestion or if you know a good doctor who takes the disease seriously.

What is wrong with the medical community, you ask.  That's the million dollar question.

you should go see dr.Josph.Joseph in hermitage Pennsylvania......we live in ohio and we drive once a month to take my mother in law there to see him....he has so muck knowledge in this lyme disease....people come from all over to see him.
