Not Sure Where to Go Again with This

Hello All,

I apologize for continuing to come here with questions, but right now I'm at a total loss on what to do.

Up until the last couple of weeks, I was doing okay, but I could tell the bicillin shots were not working much or at least not having much impact. That has been slowly fading since mid-December.

Morning anxiety has been growing and depression has been worse. And my energy level at about 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. is gone. The fatigue is unbelievable. Also can't think as well with names. Not too bad, but it's there. Not sure if that might be yeast related also, but I am treating for yeast much more now.

Also, talked with a herbalist (Julie McIntyre) who has a program set up for me that I am slowly starting. She is a wonderful person. I am slowly starting what she has prescribed, but all this started before I ever started herbs with her. She is also not against continuing an antibiotic.

I have read where Dr. Burrascano said some strains of bacteria can become resistant to bicillin. If that happens, he wrote, Unasyn (ampicillin and sulbactam) can be used. I had a pic line last fall and ended up with fevers over 106 degress several nights. No more pic lines.

Does it make sense that bicillin can quit working in six weeks, as it seemed to, or could yeast from the shots be playing a role. I know at least part of that time I was taking Tindazole. Also, has anyone used Unasyn? Was going to call my LLMD and ask about it, but wanted to see what you "veterans" think first.

I'm working hard with my diet to get better, but I'm losing faith right now. And, as we all know, hope is what keeps us going.

Thanks.

Having spent most of my life working with herbs and natural remedies, that is where my mind goes whenever I battle illness. Even medicines that are synthesized concentrates of herbs are a risk because they take the ingredient out of its natural packaging. One thing I know about the body: it's the only self-repairing machine in the world. Take away what breaks it down and give it the fuel it needs and it will repair itself, provided we haven't gone past the point of no return when it comes to our natural healing energy or immune system. Periodically I do a fresh juice fast to help heal and cleanse. And I try any herbs that might help. I had burning feet (a typical bartonella symptom) and the one thing that has worked on that is Banderol. I have used combinations of essential oils with mixed results. So far banderol, samento, olive leaf extract (natural antiviral/antibiotic), and Bio-Tox are my primary tools.

For me, my liver got messed up on abx so I am on herbs now but they are strong too b/c I got yeast on them.

Another thing I have researched and have tried some is essential oils. I was a skeptic until I tried them and got results.

Murph,

Just keep repeating to yourself:  'it's not me, it's the bugs.'

They mess with your mind and your endocrine system and everything else too.  Things will get better.

I can relate to looking at something you post then wondering what you were thinking. Fact is, I anticipate mine looking a bit off. But your message came through well.

Mojo -  Julie is a good herbalist, and I am building into what she has planned. Nystatin makes me feel horrible, so I am taking Caprylic Acid. Took Diflucan last week, but my LLMD has me taking it one week per month. I'll talk with him tomorrow about possible change. Just have read too long on diflucan is not good for liver (possibly).

Goal is to just go to herbs, if it can work. But she said she is okay with staying on an antibiotic for now or even for a while. Take clonopin for anxiety and light dose of Cymbalta for depression. Also a couple of herbs.

Hi,

I never heard on Unasyn. I am sure Bicillin affects everyone differently. Are you taking anything for yeast? I take nystatin and diflucan. It really helps. I am sure Julie can recommend something more natural too.

Have you thought of just doing the herbs? I talked to Stephen Buhner on FB and he gave me Julie's name. His partner, She is a really good herbalist. It may also help to take something for the anxiety and depression.

Hi,
Didn't wasnt you to feel all alone.
I don't know it I will be much help.

Last year I finished my ABX for Lyme. I feel a lot better...but know I have candida.
I am on the diet, which causes major brain fog and weakness.
It could be the yeast making yu feel this way, or those bloody ABx's.

This disease is not easy.

Iwas just dx with MTHFR, which I know think has always been a major problem in my life and my families.

Hope you find someone with some input.
Take care Atheana
