Numerous bites this year

I have been bitten by many ticks this year. All the bite area's have healed and were no worse than years past. How ever I started mowing for the year and all of teh sudden I have had a horrable itchy rash devolpe on th etops of both arms. Is this or could this be a symptom of lyme disease or could it be heat rash and im thinking too much into it?

Welcome to MedHelp.  There are a lot of things that cause rashes, including lyme.  I would suggest seeing your doctor to have the rash evaluated.

it sounds like it could be 'prickly heat' rash - does it itch and sting - you could try using a very high spf-sun cream - that calmed my heat rash down a lot.

of course with all the tick bites you have had there is a possibility of lyme - do you have other symptoms

as patsy 10 suggested - a visit to the doc. is a good idea

take care

No other symptoms and the only rash is on the tops of my arms all most like poisen ivy that will not go away. I called the Dr and he said with no other symptoms to wait a few more days and see what happens with it. He said it would be too early to show lyme in a bloode test. I guess I will wait it out and see what happens. Thanks for the prompt replys and thanks for a great web site..... Keep up the good work and I will reply with an update when I know something.
