For those who wish to listen to Dr. OZ's program. I would recommend registering now with the radio station (for the free trial). After you do that, you check the listings and times for Dr. OZ's show. I don't know if the times I listed above were eastern time. And then you click on "LISTEN NOW" and scroll down to the Oprah & Friends Channel.

Don't know if this is true but Oprah had LD. Treated and cured it. . .

George W. Bush had lyme disease and of course he was diagnosed and treated right away. It was about a year after he had LD, that his office announced it publicly. It makes me furious that he (no surprise though.. rolling eyes) won't speak out about lyme disease. Does he not understand that most physicians are lyme illiterate ???  I know I sound harsh... but they need to hear it. Many of these physicians have failed lyme patients, autoimmune patients and CFS/fibro patients. It is unacceptable.

One of my LLMDs was contacted by the White House to confer about treatment.

The Internet rumor meal has it at six months of doxy. Wouldn't that beat just about anything into submission.

When I think of this, I often can't help recite the part of the pledge of allegiance that states "... with liberty and lyme treatment for all."

I would venture to say that 99.9% of all doctors have failed Lyme patients. And the lack of research on CFS/Fibro is a disgrace. Fibro patients were in the same boat we were in a few years ago so we may make progress. The key is research and this has been difficult as there is no reliable test to show persistent infection. All research being done is an attempt to disprove the use of antibiotics for treating this. Why not try something totally new?

P.S. ~ There are links where you can click to e-mail your lyme story to Dr. OZ. There are also links so that you can listen to the first 10 minutes of the interview !!!

Although I do not think  (?) that I have the lyme bacteria, I feel for you because I also have intracellular bacteria and was on a antibiotic protocol (but recently switched to Jernigans' and I'm happy so far with the results).
